Machine Translation
The VISL project is in the process of developing tools for machine
translation of texts. Currently, the following translation options
are available:
- From Portuguese (source)
into Danish (target)
- From Danish (source) into
Esperanto (target)
The objective of VISL's machine translation is to provide a
version of the text in the target language which, though it may not
be fully grammatical, is at least accurate enough for a monolingual
native speaker of the target language to post-edit and thereby create
a final text which is fully acceptable to native speakers.
